Why BPS Designs now focuses on products instead of agency work

A short explanation of why BPS Designs has shifted from one-off client work to building and operating its own software products.

For many years, BPS Designs worked as a web and digital services business. That work covered websites, bespoke systems, SEO, and a wide mix of client-led projects.

Over time, the most interesting and valuable part of the business became the products themselves, the platforms we could continue improving, supporting, and learning from over the long term.

That shift led us to focus more deliberately on building and operating our own software products.

Why the change made sense

There are a few reasons this direction suits us better.

1. Better long-term focus

When you own the product, you can keep improving it instead of constantly resetting around new one-off projects.

2. Stronger operational discipline

Running software products properly means thinking about performance, support, reliability, and maintenance over time, not just launch day.

3. Clearer value for users

Products improve through iteration. The more you support and refine them, the more useful they become.

What BPS Designs does today

Today, BPS Designs is focused on running and improving a portfolio of SaaS platforms and mobile apps.

This website now reflects that more clearly. It exists to represent the company, point people towards our products, and provide the company and legal information connected to them.

We are not currently taking on new website design, SEO, branding, or bespoke software development projects.
