Danny Sullivan over at SearchEngineLand.com has written a very interesting post about how wrong Google’s top search terms for 2006 list is. In it he conducts his own little experiment with Google trends and his results are very interesting.
For example he talks about how the list must be heavily filtered because search terms like “sex” are much more popular than “Bebo”, and “MySpace” was way above “Bebo”, yet they say that Bebo was #1.
