My development background is in ASP and I’ve been wanting to get into PHP.
Does anyone recommend a good PHP book that I could get?

Yes, I’ve been looking at those, thanks. There’s also the "For Dummies" series of books but I dont want anything too basic really.

PHP and MySQL for Dynamic Web Sites (Visual QuickProject Guides) helped me out a lot. I come from an ASP background and this has certainly got me on track. £20.45.

Hi
Go to the PHP website (http://www.php.net/manual/en off the top of my head) to view their online manual. That is where I started and I haven't yet had the desire for a PHP book.
There are literally loads of free resources available on the net
Regards
Paul

Yeah, I've actually been searching on Google for php tutorials and there are quite a few out there so I'll hold off on the book buying for a while!
