The CoEBio3 (Centre of Excellence for Biocatalysis, Biotransformations and Biocatalytic Manufacture) is the UK’s new organization designed to provide a world-class scientific environment in which the necessary research and development can be carried out to create new biocatalyst-based processes to meet the changing needs of industry in the next 10-20 years.

CoEBio3 first contacted BPS Designs in October, 2006, because at that time, their website was designed and managed by the University of Manchester’s I.T. department. They wanted to take control of their own website, giving a member of staff from CoEBio3 the ability to fully manage the website.

Our first task was to take their existing website and create a duplicate in Dreamweaver so that their member of staff could manage it from their own pc and remove all dependencies from the University I.T. department.

We created the website in Dreamweaver using their original site design as requested and visited CoEBio3 to give their member of staff a day’s training on Dreamweaver, and the basics of updating and managing the website.

In June, 2007, CoEBio3 contacted us again because they were updating their corporate image, and this was to include a slight website re-design to tie in with their printed brochures etc. They sub-contracted the website design to the company that was managing the whole process and submitted the final design to us so that we could make the changes to their website.

In October, 2007, CoeBio3 contacted us again with a request to create a new section of their website, to allow private members access to their “Abstracts” and private documents.
