Gaining extra members for your newsletter is always welcome, but sometimes, methods to get these extra members are so glaringly obvious that we sometimes don’t see them.

Smiley Cat has posted an excellent tip on  how to do this from your site’s thank you page.

How many thank you pages does your websiite have? One or two? It depends on what services you offer, but most have at least one, after a visitor has contacted you using your contact form.

On the thank you page, place a brief explanation describing your newsletter and a form so that the visitor can easily subscribe. The visitor has already contacted you so they are more than likely to want to take a look at your newsletter as well.

Such a simple thing but so easy to miss.
