Apparently Google is getting annoyed that people have started using their company name as a verb. Google says that by people saying things like “Googling” and “to Google” in everyday use it could dilute the value of their trademark.

Google said “We think it’s important to make the distinction between using the word Google to describe using Google to search the internet, and using the word Google to describe searching the internet. It has some serious trademark issues.”

Well Google, I think it’s far too late to worry about that. At the end of the day, Google is part of so many peoples lives now that it was inevitable!
